National Grid’s Energy Efficiency Face-off Challenge

National Grid has partnered up with Andrew Ference of the Boston Bruins to bring energy efficiency awareness to Massachusetts and Rhode Island schools, grades K-8. Show us (via proposal, pictures, a video, drawings, etc.) how your school could use the money to be more energy efficient and be entered to win cash prizes. We encourage you to involve your students in your entry!
Grand Prize
Two lucky schools will receive a $2,500 grant (one in MA and one in RI) and a visit to their school by Andrew Ference to discuss how he strives to be energy efficient and how you can make small steps in your own home/school.
1st Prize
Nine schools in both MA and RI will also receive $1,000 grants.
To enter, show us (via proposal, pictures, a video, drawings, etc.) how your school could use the money to be more energy efficient. Entries should be sent to: Brand Team, 40 Sylvan Road, Waltham, MA 02451. Winners will be chosen at random.

The school must be a National Grid gas heating or electric customer residing in Massachusetts or Rhode Island to qualify. Entries must be received no later than April 15th at 5pm. Winners will be chosen at random and notified on April 22, 2013.
