The 2012 National Grid T-Shirt Design Contest Winners are Announced!

Congratulations to Dylan Zhou and Eileen Cha, the 2012 National Grid Happy Birthday ENERGY STAR T-Shirt design contest winners!

This year, GEF received over 500 fantastic submissions for the contest. The top 8 were selected and thousands of National Grid employees voted to choose the winners. Dylan and Eileen will each receive a $250 cash prize for their school or classroom and their classrooms will both receive t-shirts with their winning design. Furthermore, their teachers receive complementary enrollment in GEF Institute's online professional development course, Sustainability Concepts, valued at $500!

Part of GEF's Green Energy Challenge, the contest asked students to draw their energy saving wish for 2012 in celebration of ENERGY STAR's 20th birthday. All of the designs received were a true display of the enthusiasm and creativity that will lead to a more sustainable future. Read more about the contest and the winners in the official press release.
