National Green Week Raffle Winners!

GEF has announced the winners of the Green Thumb Challenge Early Registration Raffle! Five schools have won sets of 30 IXG Green Packs (eco-friendly kits for kids including organic t-shirts, snack containers and water bottles and reusable shopping bags), and 20 schools and youth groups have won garden starter kits to jumpstart their gardens in the spring. Garden kits include: hand tools and gloves, rakes and hoes, watering cans, steel wheelbarrows, organic garden control products, a variety of planters, rain gauges, and vegetable and wildflower seed packets along with canvas bags to carry supplies. Items for the kits were generously donated by Ames True Temper, Central Garden and Pet and Costa Farms.Below, you will find a list of our 2010 National Green Week and
