Calling on all "budding" artists!
Grab your crayons, markers and paint brushes for a fun and rewarding eco-art project.

Teachers: Ask your students to create a poster that represents how gardens have changed over time. Have them think about the impact of gardens on individuals and communities, and encourage them to consider the following questions:
  • What are different kinds of gardens that people grow? What are their purposes?
  • What are some famous gardens in the world, from the past or present?
  • What are some of the ways that gardens and gardening practices have changed over time?
  • What would be your dream garden of the future? What functions would it serve?
  • As a class, define environmental stewardship. How does gardening relate to environmental stewardship, and the issues that the planet faces?
