Buena Park The Green Thumb Challenge Turn-Key Garden is designed to make the steps of planning and implementing a garden as easy as possible for you. You may be a beginner gardener and seeking that kind of reassurance and direction while trying all this out. While nature in all its wildness and beauty is anything but predictable, there are actually elements of gardening that can be distilled down to a 1-2-3 process.

With this in mind, and based on the insights of thousands of participants nationwide, GEF has developed the Turn-Key Garden. Instead of giving new gardeners menus of information, we give you a plan. When it comes to gardening, it is important to remember: start small, and dream big!

The recommendations on this website have been selected based on the following criteria:

4.    EASY

All resources have been piloted in several different regions across the country, by and for beginner gardeners.

We all have our preferences. But when starting anything new for the first time, it can be very helpful to just be told WHAT to do and HOW. Read on to find out how to start, care and maintain your own garden. From there keep building your own passion and before long, people will be asking you for your secrets.
