How Much Did You Save?
At this point you should have completed a few, if not all, of the GEF Green Energy Challenge school audits. Hopefully you have come up with several ways to save energy and/or water in the process. In fact, if you have implemented suggested changes, take a closer look at how they can add up to really big savings! Now is the time to see how much money you saved in the process.

  • Calculator
  • Current, or prorated utilities bills (you may have to call the utilities company for these)
  • Completed GEF Audits
  • Utilities bills for February 2009 – April 2010 (year over year comparison months)
  • Utilities bills for 2009, 2008, 2007…. if possible (to determine monthly averages)
  • Weather information for February 2010 - April 2010 (year over year comparison months)
  • Printable PDF version of audit provided below
