Lesson Description:
In this lesson, students will better understand the negative effects of vehicle idling by mainly focusing on the 6 major air pollutants. There are several activities in this lesson that the teacher can implement. Using the provided chart and graphic organizer, students will better organize their notes about their air pollutant.

Finally, if wanted, there is a prompt, rubric, and sample of a persuasive writing piece that the teacher could assign as a follow up to the previous activities.
