Exploring Energy

Lesson Description:
Within this lesson, there are several hands-on activites provided to help students explore relevant energy topics. There are series of separate background reading materials for use prior to the hands-on activities. Implementing the two parts together will give students a better well-rounded understanding of the material and then give them an opportunity to explore familiar energy topics with the activities.

As stated, there are several activities, but they could be used collectively or individually depending on the teacher's preference and time available.

Some of the topics covered include: Cars, Greenhouse Effect, Composting, Refrigerators & Ovens, Solar Ovens, America's Trash, etc.
