Conducting a water audit of your home or school is a great way to understand how much water you use (and possibly waste! ) every day. You'll also identify areas in need of improvements. Being aware is the first step in taking action and making a big difference! Prizes
$250 to purchase science/math supplies for the school plus 500 reusable water bottles for the school! Also, the winning teacher will receive complimentary enrollment in GEF Institute's online course called Water and Sustainability (valued at $125!). One winner will be chosen.To enter:
Conduct one of the three water audits listed below with your class or group. In the email, please include your name, contact information, school or group name, number of students who participated, and your grade level. Pictures and videos of your group conducting the audits are always welcome! One winner will be chosen at random on June 4, 2013 . Also, keep in mind that an audit is a great submission for a National Green Week Green-in-Action award!
